When I was a young girl of about 13, I read a novel called "A Town Like Alice" by author Nevile Shute. I loved the story and fell in love with the Australia. Someday I hope to take a lengthy trip, maybe even retire there.Over the years, my fascination with Australia has never faded, so here is a nice list of the strange and fascinating animals that live there.
