The Search For The Perfect Password

A little bit of sci-tech for you on this fine Tuesday from NPR. As an internet junkie with a few dozen accounts for various websites, it really is tempting to use super-easy passwords to help us remember. It's also tempting to use the same username and password on all sites.

As cumbersome as they are, I have created what I consider to be devilishly good passwords. For example: IheartNew$b0y$, the_gr1nch_$t0le_Chri$tma$, hArry_P0tter, etc.

Try it yourself. Think of something you like - a musical performer, author, book, movie, tv show, etc. If you follow Suze Orman, you could make your financial passwords: $uze_0rman_r0ck$ OR Im_Mad_4_M0ney. If it's a social website, think of another password: $ecret_l1fe_0f_Beez etc ... Make your passwords easy to remember as a phrase, only substitute numbers and symbols for letters or words.

Good luck and Keep_y0ur_$tuff_$afe_0n_the_web!
