Banana peels. Remember them? Those pesky problematic peels that catch pedestrians unaware? Well now there is a real USE for the peels!Banana skins, leaves and stems can be combined with other materials to make a low-cost replacement for wood that would be used for cooking, and would particularly aid the impoverished by providing a source of energy for preparing meals.
So here is a way to reuse what would otherwise be waste -- instead of going green, you could say they are going "yellow." Or going "bananas" for going green! Or make up your own silly slogan!
